The G-spot

The Gräfenberg spot, or G-spot, is an erogenous zone, a small area in the genital area of women behind the pubic bone, surrounding the urethra and accessible through the anterior wall of the vagina.

It is located on the anterior, or frontal side of the vagina about half way between the pubic bone and cervix. Since its location is behind the anterior wall, pressure is needed to stimulate it.

The G-spot may not be just one discrete spot. Some have contended that it is merely the deep nerves of the clitoris as they pass through the tissue to connect with the spinal column. The clitoris has deep roots and may in fact change in size and slightly change in location as hormone levels fluctuate throughout a woman's life.

The term 'G-spot' (or 'P-spot', for prostate) is sometimes used colloquaily for the men's prostate; some argue that during insertion of an item into the anus, some men may experience sexual pleasure through it.
